Executive Assistant

LOS ANGELES, CA

SingFit, a forward-thinking, fast-paced company in downtown Los Angeles that merges healthcare, singing, and technology, is looking to hire a proven Executive Assistant for the company’s CEO. Your primary focus will be to coordinate meetings, route correspondence between multiple parties, and in general “keep the train moving on the tracks” as we transform music into medicine. 

Additional responsibilities will depend on your particular career focus. Former admins have come from a variety of education and industry backgrounds including business, healthcare, social media, research, and music publishing. Responsibilities related to this role can be adapted to whatever career interest/focus you may have.

You will perform mostly administrative duties, as well as some personal duties. Organization and attention to detail are critical and the ability to keep the CEO focused amidst the dull roar is a must. This is a remote position and the ideal candidate will be based in Pacific or Mountain Time.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling the CEO’s calendar

  • Creating and managing daily to-do lists

  • Drafting letters and documents, routing correspondence, and initiating communications 

  • Organizing and prioritizing the CEO’s inbox

  • Keeping client records current and confidential; implementing/revising current client filing process

  • Keeping track of conferences - upcoming applications, all deadlines related to registering, booking travel, etc. 

  • Researching, collecting and analyzing information

  • Light administrative assistance to company’s other co-founder 

  • Ensuring operations of equipment, troubleshooting and scheduling repairs/maintenance

  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

 

Requirements

  • Flexibility in daily schedule and hours

  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask

Director or VP of Business Development

LOS ANGELES, CA

Musical Health Technologies (MHT), an award-winning leader in the digital health space based in Los Angeles, California, with major clients and partners seeks a business development professional who drives growth and loves to close! We are open to remote candidates. Our SingFit platform scales active therapeutic music for the first time. We are a small team and you will have the opportunity to make a big difference.

As the Head of Business Development, you will work with our Executive team to create new opportunities, manage existing pipelines and oversee current relationships that will expand the reach of music as medicine to hundreds of millions of people.

 

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an exciting new industry at the intersection of healthcare, music and technology and to help shape new sales strategies. Title and compensation depend on experience. 


The successful candidate will work with the CEO and executive team to drive the sales strategy as well as prospecting new deals. A depth of experience in some or all of the following healthcare sectors is essential:  

  • Medicare Advantage Plans (the Blues, Humana)

  • Providers (health systems, outpatient clinics)  

  • Traditional and/or new breed digital health companies (Philips, Calm, Amazon, Google) 

  • Retailers (Walgreens, Best Buy)

 

Existing key relationships in some of these areas are a must.

Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Increasing market position by identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing business relationships, partnerships, and strategic alliances.

  • Creating a systematic approach in identifying and sourcing business development deals and evaluating added value propositions while generating interest among identified partners..

  • Analyzing market trends and sharing competitive intelligence to develop business strategies.

 

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years strategic selling experience 

  • Ability to think, plan and sell strategically

  • Excellent negotiating skills, presentation and communication skills

  • An understanding of the operational and sales sides of healthcare

  • Flexible thinking that allows new concepts and products to dovetail with existing healthcare workflows

Business Analyst

LOS ANGELES, CA

Musical Health Technologies turns music into medicine utilizing technology and musical therapy expertise. Our first of their kind products have been in the field for seven years and we are now moving into a period of rapid growth. We are looking for a Business Analyst who will work with the CEO and executive team to research, prepare, schedule, track and respond to both business development and investment opportunities. While there may be some administrative tasks in this role (including taking notes on calls, tracking progress) the person in this role will be working in both a strategic and tactical manner to close deals with enterprise health providers and inventors. Use your business acumen to positively impact the health and happiness of older adults and work at the very nexus of music, health and technology. The ideal candidate will possess: 

  • 2-3 years experience in a business research or support role

  • Excellent research, analytical and writing skills

  • Top-notch Keynote skills 

  • Experience or interest in the healthcare industry

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • A familiarity with the Google and Dropbox suite of tools 

  • The ability to keep a cool head in a fast paced environment.

  • At least Bachelors, preferably focused on business or marketing, but open to other majors

  • Experience in marketing, journalism or PR is a plus

Director of Therapeutics and Research

LOS ANGELES, CA

Award-winning healthcare technology company looking for a seasoned Director of Therapeutics and research whose credentials include a degree in music therapy. The successful candidate will have experience working with individuals 65+, ideally those with dementia, COPD, stroke or TBI. Little to no direct clinical work will be required, though you will be working with a cross-disciplinary team, incorporating your extensive expertise in music therapy, research, business, and technology to create and scale therapeutic music solutions to serve a variety of populations. 

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 10 years clinical/research experience working with people 65+ who have dementia, chronic respiratory conditions, behavioral health, TBI rehab and stroke. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (must be able to communicate in a way that is digestible for a variety of audiences).

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. 

  • An interest in using technology to scale ethical and effective therapeutic music to multiple populations. 

  • Experience leading teams in a start-up environment often without an established roadmap. 

  • Experience managing others. 

 

Bonus points for experience: 

  • In conducting research/has been a PI and or funded in related research. 

  • With reimbursement and coding. 

  • Working specifically with vocal process/singing.
