A highly respected music therapist, public speaker and expert on music and the brain, Andy has spent 15 years developing innovative techniques that help clients achieve their therapeutic goals. Carlos has over 15 years of experience providing leadership to organizations of all sizes. Specializing in building and scaling operations for rapid growth, Carlos is equally at home at both startups and mature companies. Analyst and Product Manager
Corrie graduated from Duke University with a double degree in Psychology and History. Corrie joined the SingFit team after she moved back to California to pursue a career in psychology and neuroscience. Corrie works to expand the scope/reach of MHT through initiating and managing research opportunities, aiding in fundraising, and creating beta testing SingFit protocols for various health conditions in diverse settings. Brad graduated from California State University Long Beach, where he studied percussion by day and started a professional music career by night. Cara Smith is a Board Certified Music Therapist, professional singer, and social entrepreneur who has studied music and its therapeutic wonders across many continents. Most recently, she traveled throughout East and Southern Africa researching community-based therapeutic music practices. She is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and the University of Pretoria in South Africa. Cara hopes her love for leadership, organization, and innovation may help more people engage with therapeutic singing. Her current favorite song in the SingFit catalog is "How Sweet It Is."
Chelsea Brown studied Music Therapy at University of the Pacific. She has authored 2 research projects regarding music therapy’s impact on mental health in medical settings. Chelsea is passionate about utilizing music therapy for relaxation and stress/anxiety reduction across a wide range of conditions. Esteban Roa is a music therapy graduate from Berklee College of Music. Esteban’s passion to use music for human development and wellbeing has led led him to work in a variety of medical and educational settings across Central, South, and North America. Erika graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelors in English. From onboarding new customers to community outreach, Erika strives to actively support our members. Erika's favorite song in the SingFit Catalog is, "I've Got a Feeling You're Fooling".
The smallest and softest member of the MHT team, Shana is also the most high-maintenance. Keeping her happy is worth the gourmet meals and frequent walks. When she's not perched on her throne in Andy's office, she takes meetings with the rest of the team and keeps office morale high.
