This year’s HLTH conference was backed by star power. Musicians including Lenny Kravitz and John Legend took to the stage, speaking of their strong support for various health initiatives.
Kravitz shed light on his foundation’s progress in supporting improvement to oral health and healthcare more broadly in the Bahamas. The Let Love Rule Foundation and Dr. Jonathan Levine, co-founder of the Glo Good Foundation, have been working together to provide people on the island of Eleuthera with dental and medical services, education and supplies.
Kravitz co-founded the toothpaste brand Twice alongside Julian and Cody, sons of Dr. Levine. The brand donates 10% of its profits to the GLO Good Foundation. To learn more or support their mission to bring oral care services to underserved areas of the world, visit https://www.glogood.org.
Legend spoke with Vanessa Broadhurst, EVP, Global Corporate Affairs at Johnson & Johnson, on the topics of health equity, women's health and maternal health, as well as highlighted the efforts being made to provide equitable care for all patients.

Legend also supports charitable causes like Malaria No More, the ACLU of Southern California, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and the United Negro College Fund.
It’s inspiring to see music artists and celebrities at HLTH lending their voices and efforts to support global healthcare issues, with more figures in the music industry increasingly contributing to health initiatives. Bono's ONE Campaign helps to prevent the spread of diseases in underserved communities across the world and has raised billions in funding to fight against AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis. Mental health advocates include Billie Eilish, Bruce Springsteen and Lady Gaga, whose Born This Way Foundation empowers youth by providing mental health resources and fostering a positive environment. Jennifer Lopez's family foundation donates to policies and programs that improve healthcare and health education for women and children.
The involvement of these artists and others ultimately impacts millions of people in need. We value all efforts aimed at improving the lives of individuals affected by health conditions, as we are equally committed to fostering joy, connection, and comfort for people around the world.
